I get complex work across the line.

My background runs through software engineering, federal programs, and regulated life sciences. That is the useful part: enough time inside each of those worlds to see what the others miss, and to turn competing views into an operating picture the organization can carry — then stay with the decisions, structures, and change required to implement it.

My career has never followed a straight ladder. It has been more like a jungle gym. Yet one thread has remained constant: I take complex work, create structure around it, and help people through implementation and change.​

 

That thread became Bridgewalker Strategies.​​

THE WORK TODAY

Through Bridgewalker Strategies, I support organizations when consequential initiatives cross functions, disciplines, and organizational boundaries where the intent is clear, but the people responsible for execution are no longer working from the same picture.

The work often involves clarifying the decision in front of leadership, exposing where structure or accountability is misaligned, and building the operating picture needed to move: roles, governance, sequencing, and the technology or AI choices that can actually be fielded.

When an initiative needs a senior owner who can work across those rooms, Bridgewalker also provides fractional leadership.

THE EXPERIENCE BEHIND THE WORK

More than 30 years across federal programs and regulated life sciences — from software engineering to global platform leadership — have shaped how I work.

Much of that career has been spent between domains:

• Turning technical possibility into language that science and the business can use

• Turning strategic intent into operational requirements

• Making different perspectives on the same initiative explicit enough to reconcile and act on

That is the translation: technology, science, operations, regulation, and leadership, brought far enough together that a cross-domain initiative can move.

At AstraZeneca I helped establish Medical Evidence Enablement from its earliest stage, including the team, operating model, and technology foundation for a global Medical Evidence organization spanning Medical Affairs, R&D, and multiple therapeutic areas that worked differently.

​

I later served as Senior Director of Global Medical Evidence Platforms, leading technology strategy, enterprise roadmaps, governance, and large-scale change across clinical research, real-world data and evidence planning, publications management, and compassionate use.

​

My recent work has extended that cross-domain practice into applied generative AI, including applied AI study at Johns Hopkins University and the development of Bridgewalker Perspectives, a working tool for examining every-day complex situations from multiple perspectives.
